- Approximately one-third the rewards of staking
- Zero slashing risk
- Best for flexibility
Staking
Max Rewards- Up to 3x the rewards of delegation
- Locked until unstake (~4 days cooldown)
- Small slashing risk
- Best for maximizing long-term rewards
Security

FAQ
Got questions?
01 What is staking?
Staking was introduced with the Paris upgrade (June 2024), allowing individual tez holders to help secure the network without running a node. By staking your tez with a baker, you contribute to network security and earn rewards.
02 What is the difference between delegation and staking?
With delegation, your tez remains liquid and earns approximately one-third the rewards. With staking, your tez is locked and earns up to 3x the rewards of delegation but is exposed to slashing risks. Both require choosing a baker.
03 Can I unstake at any time?
Yes. Click the Unstake button, wait approximately 4 days (4 cycles), then finalize. Your funds become available again after finalization.
04 Are my funds safe when I delegate?
Delegation is a non-custodial, network-level operation. Your tez never leaves your wallet and the baker cannot access or move your funds.
05 What are your fees?
We charge a flat 4.99% fee on both delegation and staking rewards. No hidden costs, no surprises.
06 When do I receive rewards?
Rewards start accruing immediately, but take about 8 days (8 cycles) for the first payout. After that, rewards arrive automatically every cycle, daily since the Rio upgrade.
07 How are rewards calculated?
Rewards depend on the amount of tez you delegate or stake and the baker's performance. A reliable baker who consistently bakes and endorses blocks earns more rewards, shared proportionally with delegators and stakers.
08 What is a baker?
A baker is a Tezos validator. Bakers confirm transactions, propose blocks, and keep the network running. Delegating to a baker lets you earn rewards without running your own node.
09 What happens if a baker is slashed?
Slashing only affects staked tez, not delegated tez. If your baker is slashed, a portion of your staked funds may be reduced.
10 How do I get started?
Get a Tezos wallet (Temple, Umami, Kukai, or any wallet that supports delegation), copy our baker address from the section above, paste it into your wallet's delegation field, and confirm. Rewards start accruing automatically.
